My Story

After 32 years experience in international sales management and business development with a proven track record in change management, leadership and people management in the Life Science, Biotech and diagnostic industry I decided to start my own consultancy to help startups and foreign companies in becoming successful in Belgium and in Europe in general. 

Hands-on support as well as coaching sales teams, setting realistic sales targets and strategies and achieving them, concluding international distribution agreements and following up distributors, market research are just some of my commercial and marketing activities that I have successfully completed in the past.

Companies I worked for over the last 32 years were BioMérieux, Miltenyi Biotech and The Binding Site. While starting as a sales rep for BioMérieux covering Flanders I switched to Miltenyi Biotech were I worked as an area sales manager covering next to the Benelux also Eastern Europe and Scandinavia. From 2012 until 2018 I worked as a sales manager Benelux for The Binding Site which allowed me more insight in the situation of the IVD diagnostic market in the Benelux and I gained also the necessary experience in the molecular market in Europe while working for GenePoc in 2019.

Next to this I also got the opportunity to start up a successful subsidiary in Belgium and the Netherlands for Miltentyi biotech and responsable for the Benelux activities as country manager from 2005 until 2012.
